The bedrooms
 


The bedrooms are airy, spacious and welcoming and designed with specific requirements of service users in mind.

Each room is tastefully decorated, well furnished with essential furniture. There is provision for service users to make their rooms 'personal, special and homely' as possible with their personal possessions and ornaments.

A 'Call System' is also installed in each bedroom for service users to summon help when required.

Lounge

The home has a spacious lounge and is comfortable, welcoming and beautifully furbished and designed to promote a family atmosphere. Service users enjoy spending their time here socialising with staff and other residents.
 
   
Our home    

Walmer Lodge is a 12 well decorated and furnished single bed roomed registered Residential Care Home, offering respite, short term and long-term accommodation that meet the Care Standards. All bedrooms and communal areas are fitted with an emergency call system. The service caters for both male and female adults with mental health and learning difficulties between the ages of 18 and 65. Those over 65 with nursing and/or palliative care needs will be helped to find more suitable alternative accommodation of their choice. Regrettably we are not able to accept pets. Fire precautions and emergency procedures are in accordance with Fire Service and Care Standards requirements. Copies of our procedures are placed around the home. A copy is also available in the main office.

What we do
Walmer Lodge is a registered residential care home providing dedicated service to people with Mental Health and Learning Difficulties, between the ages of 18 and 65 of both genders who require long term residential care. Short term and respite care is also available to those who need it. We will consider residents who may have low nursing care related needs but do not take residents with specialist requirements or general nursing needs.
